Jean Lowey Craig Sinclair

Jean (Gene) Lowey Craig Sinclair passed away peacefully June 24th, 2026, at Pierre Boucher Hospital at the age of 83.  Loving wife of Joseph Sinclair, mother of Mark (Christine), Nadene (Rick), grandmother of Taylor and Conor.  Loving grand dog mother of Oreo and Oskar. 

Gene grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland and married Joseph September 12th, 1964.  In the early 70’s they took the courageous decision to move to Longueuil, Canada with two young children in tow, at a time of when the internet or international credit did not exist.

Gene worked in the early years at Belfast Ropeworks, Marks and Spencer in Montreal before having a long career at Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil.

Gene loved participating in many activities, bowling, pétanque, dancing and social events at the Royal Canadian Legion in St-Bruno to name a few.  She also loved taking long walks, though many would refer to them as marches. 

A celebration of life will be held later this year. 

Although we are sad of her passing, she lived a great life, when thinking of her even though it may bring a tear to your eye, we are sure it will bring a smile to your face.
