It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Simpson, who passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at the age of 78.
Judith will be lovingly remembered by her son, Grant (Nancy), and her daughter, Lee Ann.
She was a devoted grandmother to Adele (Jimmy), William (Geneviève), Melyna (Jean-Benoît), Maxime, Samantha, and Nicholas (Carolane), and a proud great-grandmother to Sophia, Riley, Laurence, and Antoine, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
Judith was predeceased by her beloved parents, Lillian and George; her brother, Ernie; her sister, Doreen; and her nephew, Danny. She is also lovingly remembered by her niece, Anne-Marie, and her nephew, Martin.
Family was the heart of Judith's life. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from seeing her family together and watching each new generation grow. She asked for very little, finding happiness in life's simple pleasures and in the love and company of those closest to her. Her quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering love will remain with her family always.
In keeping with Judith's wishes, there will be no funeral or formal service. She was never one for ceremony and preferred that those who knew and loved her simply take a quiet moment to remember her in their own way, reflecting on the memories they shared and the love she gave so freely.
Though she is no longer with us, Judith's love, warmth, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
