In loving memory of
Jasper Fyson
April 3, 1992 – August 24, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jasper Fyson on August 24, 2026. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and so much more to the many people whose lives he touched.
Jasper was loyal, incredibly smart, stubborn more often than not, sharp-witted, endlessly curious, always dependable, and blessed with the best sense of humour. He was full of life - he loved good food, good conversation, travel, and being surrounded by the people he loved.
Jasper shared his life with his wife, Veronika, and their dog, Arlo. Their life together was filled with adventures, meals, trips, lots of laughter, plans for the future, and the countless small routines that become a life. Above all, Jasper was endlessly loved.
He leaves behind his father, Don, his brother, Sacha, and a wide circle of family and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sovita, whom he loved dearly. While his loss is immeasurable, there is comfort in imagining that he has found his way back to her, catching up, laughing, and cooking something delicious.
Jasper's life was far too short and he made sure he fought hard against his cancer. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, intelligence, love of food, and ability to make people feel that they belonged.
He will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
A celebration of Jasper's life will be held at a later date, more details to come soon. Friends and loved ones will be warmly invited to come together, share stories, raise a glass, and celebrate the extraordinary person he was.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jasper’s memory may be made to The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) to support brain cancer research.
